Juniors National Dual 2008

The National Junior Duals meet was in Oklahoma City June 29^th-July 4^th 2008.  I was on the Greco-Roman team Minnesota 2 wrestling in the 130lb division.  We left Saturday night after being in training camp and travelled through the night-arriving Sunday afternoon.  I remember I just wanted to get weighed in so I could eat because I was very hungry at this point.  Weigh ins were the next morning and I thankfully made weight coming in at 129.7 lbs.  After this we hit the Minnesota Team food tent-boy did that food sure taste good.  Wrestling started Monday afternoon.  I had a phenomenal tournament-I got 2 TF (my favorite was against the wrestler from Pennsylvania) and I almost beat the AAA Junior National Champion (I lost by 1 point) when I wrestled up at 135lbs.  This is where the great action is at and the fun-wrestling the best of the best, seeing new places and old friends.  I can’t wait to do this again.  Jamon
